I’m not self-conscious about my weight now, I just want to get back to my normal weight because I felt more comfortable with myself. And I want to lose that weight before I leave for Europe

Yes, as long as you are doing it in a healthy way. No bulemorexia, please! If you are working out, eating well and watching your portions.. that’s fantastic progress.

Yes it is healthy. 10 pounds in 2 months is a great amount in a good time. That sounds like you will be fit too at 5′0 and about 112 pounds. Good luck to you!!

Your an inch taller then me same weight.. I am trying to get back in shape as well.
I think you will be ok as long as you keep it healthy and don’t starve yourself. Cut the sugars, drink lots of water, and exercise daily. Good luck with your goal :]

I would say yes, you can find a healthy way to lose 10 pounds in 2 months. It takes the lose of 3500 calories to lose one pound of body weight. Therefore, If you lose just 550 calories a day for 2 months you will achieve your goal. Eat a healthy low calorie diet and exercise. You can do it.

It could be healthy if you lose weight the right way, through eating healthy lower calorie foods and exercise. You lose weight by creating a calorie deficit, and that is accomplished by the aforementioned lower calorie foods and exercise. :) One pound of fat is roughly 3,500 calories, so you would have to eat 500 calories less than you expend each day for one week in order to lose one pound. A weight loss of one pound each week is a healthy rate. Losing two pounds a week is rapid, but could still be done in a healthy way.

Yeah, that is healthy… a little over a pound a week.

yes it is. Two mounths is enough time to lose 10 pounds. for a young girl like you a simple minute change in diet will make you lose the weight. the older you get, the harder it gets to lose the weight.

Sure it is – I lost 10 lb in a month just because I changed my lifestyle a bit

Yes, I think that would be safe. Don’t lose more than 2 lbs. per week. I think that is a very realistic goal. Good luck!
