A Flea Can Jump How Many Times It’s Own Body Weight?

I’ll tell you everything about fleas. Fleas jump 200 times their own body length not weight. Fleas pass through a complete life cycle consisting of egg, larva, pupa and adult. Eggs hatch between 2 days to 2 weeks depending. It’s a parasite which means it lives off other animals by sucking out the blood. Some people have allergic reactions to fleas like some do to mosquitoes. Fleas give diseases such as the worst Bubonic plague which killed a lot of Europeans but the disease now is rare and can be treated. One more thing there are these type of fleas: Cat, Dog, Human, Northern rat, Oriental rat, flea.

    It is the flea’s weight.
    Other facts:
    Fleas have been known to make leaps up to 13 inches, about 200 times the length of their own bodies. This would be equal to a 900 foot jump by a six-foot man.
    Fleas really can jump over 100 times their height.
