Light weights with lots of reps produce “hypertrophy” which is Greek for “ripped”.

Check with the Iraqi government. I hear they have a good program for a ripped head.

The basic answer is do low weight and high reps. The exercise isn’t as important. Doing a ton of pushups and situps will work if you are dedicated. You will also need to have very low body fat, you will not look “ripped” if you have fat covering your muscles regardless of how big they are.
To get your arms cut up I would do “ladder” sets. start with a low weight and increase the weight slightly on each “step” up. Shot for 5 total sets, 3 up, 2 down. Lift to failure on the each set on the way down. Again you can do this will lower weight and high reps.
